Spyro Reignited Trilogy May Not Happen on Switch for a While

Toys For Bob Co-Studio Head Paul Yan implies that we may not be getting Spyro on the Nintendo Switch any time soon when asked in the Spyro gameplay demo at E3.

As you can see below, Spyro is looking incredible on the current generation of consoles. When asked what consoles the game is coming out on, Yan says PS4 and Xbox One. He was then asked “when are we going to get the Switch version? Not yet?” Then there was a slightly awkward pause then Yan spilled out, “[We’re] Not talking about anything else right now.” You can see the clip below:

Activision is still showing hesitation with going on the Switch. While many other companies are jumping on to the console, Activision still seems to not take Nintendo seriously with their consoles. We can only hope we get Spyro on the hybrid console sometime next year. Maybe once these companies see how well the Switch is truly selling, they will finally invest on the console.

What do you think of this news? Will we be getting Spyro on the Switch sooner rather than later? Let us know what your thinking in the comments below!

Spyro Reignited Trilogy is coming out on PS4 and Xbox One September 21st, 2018.
