Skate 4 Rumors Come Up (Again)

Skate 4 is one of those games that people keep begging for but EA just won’t deliver. There have been numerous rumors for years now. We always hear people saying “Skate 4 to release this year?” Every year right before E3, people get their hopes up and get let down over and over again. It is quite an emotional roller coaster. With that said, talk about Skate 4 is happening again.

Skate 3 has been a go-to game for skateboarding fans all over the world. Since the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater series dropped off a cliff, the Skate series is all skating fans have. Recently, reports have been coming out that the Skate 3 servers are back online. Skate 3 is on the backward compatibility list for XboxOne. For many fans, they were surprised to see online modes open back up when they logged on for a skating session. Because of this, many people are speculating that the servers coming back up is EA hinting that Skate 4 will be coming out.

Skate fans are an interesting group of people. They know how to find “proof” of something out of nothing, and that’s what this is. Nothing. This is just the endless cycle of Skate fans building their expectations and being devastated when it’s not announced at E3. Unless there is an official announcement or tease, I just can’t believe it. Until then, this is just a very far reach for proof of a game being developed. Will we be seeing it at E3 2018? No one knows. For gamers everywhere, we all hope we do.

What do you think? Do you think this is proof that Skate 4 is in development? Do you think Skate 4 will be at E3 this year? Tell us below!
